Encouragement about these Times

I wrote this because I did not want you all to feel despaired after this last post, and I hope this shall be an encouragement to you!

We may see all those things happening in our country, as I listed in the previous post on "America Holocaust," and feel frightened or frustrated. Many men in the Bible have also cried out to God when their countries were turning away from God's will. They cried out to God, just as we have been when all those things have been happening. Habbakuk is one of these men, and he said,

"O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!

Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.

Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth." Habbakuk 1:2-4

Habbakuk wondered why God did not come quickly to avenge the righteous and why he waited so long to punish evil. The world was covered in inquitity and wickedness. Evil was abounding. Habbakuk asked God why he was allowing the wicked to prosper and for the world to continue this way? Does that sound like us?

Then God replied,

"Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you." Habbakuk 1:5

God already has a plan. God's judgment and wrath does not sleep very long. The Lord has seen everything happening in our country right now and everything is still under his control. The leaders in this world may THINK they are in control, but God is above them on the everlasting throne.

As his people, we shall learn to trust God and to live by faith no matter what's happening in our nation. Terrible plans are being formed by the enemy and satan is working in the powerful places on Earth, but the Earth fits in the hollow of God's hand. He is above it all and he reigns. His plans can crush the enemy's plans.

"And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." Habbukuk 2:2

God has an appointed time for his plans to be fulfilled. Everything is happening exactly the way God knew it would as it is written. He shall fulfill his plans, and we shall have victory. There SHALL be an end to the wickedness in the world. As we approach these times, we shall look up for our redemption draweth nigh. Let us rejoice and wait on the Lord.

Thank you Charlene. There are times that I refuse to watch the news for this reason. It gets discouraging. Yet we need to keep our focus on reaching the lost and training our children. We can observe the times and know His coming is near, yet not to live in fear. We must be praying and getting closer to the Lord. Let us continue to prepare to meet The Groom.

Amen! We often fret from all the evilness in the world but we forget we have GOD on our team. The world may seem like they have the upper hand but we shall reign in victory for an eternity. Woohoo, now that's exciting!

No fear in Jesus. I live Bible smart and world aware and keep my focus on the LORD and that which He has for me to focus on and I keep myself aware of what's going on around me because we are to be watchful and alert.

I so appreciate your precious heart of love and concern for all! You are a beautiful bright light for JESUS!!!

I really like your new blog look and photos. I'm sure I've said that before. Love to you and those precious boys.

We can become so easily discouraged and anxious over the state of things in our country. It seems to be heading for the darkness of evil at an alarming rate.
Thankfully, we as Christains, have a Hope!
