I welcome George to our (crazy) family and hope God blesses their marriage in abundance for all the days yet to come!! Our family gathered together at a very small and intimate wedding on September 8th to celebrate their marriage! Congrats to Mom and George! We love you!! Here are pictures down below!!

A Challenge from Beth in NC!

Beth in NC challenged me to do a fun thing by posting the sixth picture in my sixth file folder.

Is that a rabbit? Well no, that's me being silly. I can be silly. All you have to do is dangle a carrot in front of me and this just comes out. >:B

Oh uh, don't mind the laundry pile on the couch. It's only been there uh, 2 days. I'll get to it eventually!

And I'm supposed to tag five victims.. er, people :D

Each of you are supposed to show the 6th photo in your 6th folder -- then pass along to 5 other friends.

My Five Very Lucky Victims are.. ((drumroll))

1. Mikey at Be of Good Cheer
2. Martha at Fly Away Birdie
3. SisterLisa at Home Spun Life
4. Jessica at Pages of My Heart
5. Krystal at Krystal's Rants

.......*(hops away)*

Hi everyone!

I can freely come out and announce that I do homeschool both of my boys! Their father has given us his blessing which is a joyful miracle to me!! I have been learning about homeschooling for several months. This is my first year, and I am still learning!! Any advice and tips would be appreciated!!

I enjoy spending quality of time with Landon (age 4) and Brady (age 2). We have a wonderful bond. I enjoy the liberty in homeschooling and teaching them wisdom in life as well as education. This is the most natural way to go, and God designed teachers in parents. As I give Landon and Brady back to God, I want to lift them above my head. I want to teach them everything I know, and teach them how to go on ahead of me.

From Nature walks and picnics in the park...

to enjoying music together...

to hands on activities...

and quiet time readings.

Homeschooling is fun!!!

I noticed how handsome and BIG my boys have gotten, so I snapped some pictures this morning! My heart melts looking at these pictures, aww. They're becoming heart throbs! *(oh-noes!)* I need to buy an electric fence to keep the girls out!!

This one cracks me up, LOL!

A Green Family!

Here is a new picture update of us! It's been a while since we had one! Landon is 4 and Brady is 2, and they're growing like weeds! Cute weeds, of course. Have a happy St Paddy's day!!

How Darling!!

I got this in the email today from Celeste, who used to be my sister in law (and still an awesome friend). I absolutely ADORE these pictures!! Aren't they cute??! My boys are sitting on the bricks with their cousins! Landon and Brady are on the left side and their cousins are on the right side! Aren't they such HANDSOME little gentlemen??

Today, my boys came home from their weekend with their father and I missed them SO much! I don't think I will ever get used to having them away from me. I was telling Landon that I loved him so much that mama's heart feels like it could explode! I did the "kab0Om" effect and he laughed. Suddenly, I found myself weeping and I just held him tight and told him that I am so thankful for him!

God, please keep them all in the palm of your hands and let nothing ever pluck them out. Keep the hedge of protection around them so tight and shelter them under the refuge of your wings. Guide their paths and lead their way as they live their lives. Let them all become extraordinary Men of God! Thank you for bringing us those four little joys in the world!
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Picture People 12/11/08

We got a free package from Picture People under the Toys for Tot program! What a blessing it was! I would never have been able to afford this and we finally have a family portrait!! Thank you so much SisterLisa and Toys for Tot! God is great!

"Carry the Light" 09/08

My mom found these pictures for me online, yay! I had a great opportunity to perform the song "Carry the Light" in sign language for my church this year. I have been performing songs since I was eleven years old and it is one of my greatest passions. Just to be able to use my hands to praise the Lord in silent music is an honor. I hope to be asked to perform again!

My Heart's Cry.

I have been feeling this heaviness on my soul as a feeling of dread. The air is different. It is a feeling that I cannot shake off and it lingers in my soul. I don't know if you guys can sense it too, but a few have told me that they know what I mean. Something is coming.

When I walk, when I drive, when I sleep, all I can think about are those words..

"We need a savior."

I got my baptism picture from church recently. I knew I needed a Savior.

New Ones!

My mom took some new photos of me. She's a good photographer :) I enjoy pictures and they can capture my feelings and moments. I'm glad I have several pictures of myself on a balcony because I adore balconies from a great height. I feel like a bird way up there.

Go Ye into All the World

God has blessed me greatly with such amazing women that I can fellowship with at my church. Ever since I joined my church, I have gotten to know these women and they have been my sisters in Christ. One of them is SisterLisa, who has become my mentor and my awesome friend! I am blessed to know her and her family! We have grown close since she taught my discipleship class and she also interprets for me at church. She has taught me SO much about how to be a Godly woman! I am so thankful that I have gotten to know her!

And there is a small deaf ministry at my church that is currently growing! It is one of my desires to work with SisterLisa and reach the deaf community. God commanded us to reach out to others and share the Gospel to everyone. "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."Mark 16:15. The deaf world is where I want to enter and preach the Gospel. Pray for us as we go!

The two beautiful reasons why I smile everyday.

My grandmother, Lucille, that we lovingly called "Nana" passed away on Thursday evening. She was eighty-eight years old and lived a long, full life. I have many memories of her while I was growing up. She was a vibrant and sassy woman who always wore sparkling sweaters and had her hair in curls. I used to watch her put on her makeup. She was the one who taught me how to walk straight because back then, I used to walk like a duck! I remember that she was always there for me while I was growing up. She fell into alzhimer's during the last few years of her life, but I will always remember her as the way she was. Rest in peace and I'll see you soon.

With all my love, Charlene

Saved by the Bell College Years!

I have been learning something lately. I realize that I have been searching for someone but it was according to my book, not God's. I had my own list of standards and things I wanted in a man. My sister told me that it only shows how I don't trust that God will choose the right man for me. Only God knows what is best for me.

The Bible tells us to find a mate of an equal yoke. I know that God wants me to be with a Godly man when the time is right. A relationship can only succeed with God in the center of everything. I also have to learn to be patient because it is in God's time. In his time, he makes all things beautiful. God is never early or late, but he is always on time. If I rush to find someone now, it could all easily backfire.

God also holds my heart and he will lead me. As I am single now, it is my time to learn how I can be a Godly wife someday. It is also my time to be alone with God and to be closer to him. I have to be his sheep, not his mule! ;)

*Professional Photo*

The professional photo from my graduation was finally emailed to me today! I thought I had blinked in the photo, but I didn't! Whew! ;)

It is Finished!

I finally graduated on May 23rd, 2008. My two little boys came to root for me! My family and my wonderful friends came as well! It was a great memory that I will always keep. It was also raining during the entire ceremony. The skies were majestic. I feel so relieved it is FINISHED!!
